AMESBURY Kings Arms FC replicated last weekend’s 4-1 victory during their reverse clash with Whiteparish.

Booking a place in the semi-final of the Salisbury and District Charity B Cup was topped off in style when they smashed the opposition again, this time on home soil, in Salisbury and District Division One to move to the summit.

The Kings raced into an early lead when Ashley Fox smashed a home a shot from the edge of the box.

Fox then turned provider as he sent captain Danny Goodall in on goal, who curled past the visitor’s keeper into the top corner. After pulling a goal back before half time, Whiteparish pushed hard for an equaliser for a large part of the second half.

But Danny Goodall eased the pressure by rounding the goalkeeper and bagging his second of the match with 10 minutes remaining.

Nick Voce finished off the goal scoring from close range with the final kick of the match.
