AFC Amesbury Athletic booked their place in the final of the Pete Fardell Cup with a 2-0 win over league rivals FC Bulford.

With the Pinks struggling with injuries and suspensions, it took a wonder strike from Jesse Walters to open the scoring.

Life didn't get easier for Pinks as Tom Plant had to come off with another injury to his knee.

Eddie Perrett succeed him, with his first touch being ruled out for offside.

Bulford then came into the game with a good strike from Duncan Smith that toppled the woodwork.

Entering the last 10 minutes of the game, a challenge made from Pinks captain Connor Palmer left Danny Western unhappy, and he was consequently dismissed.

In the final stages of the game, Amesbury broke away on the counter attack with Harvey Coker running with the ball to slot in Lee Weeks, who completed the tie.

The final is now set against Laverstock & Ford to be played on April 6.
