FC SALISBURY United caused some major upsets at the FA Futsal Cup Finals when locking horns with some of the best sides in the country.
The Corinthians lost their first game to eventual finalists Manchester Futsal Club, yet the side bounced back with a captivating 6-6 draw against Birmingham Tigers, Eddie Perrett and Seb Dawes were on blistering form and took the game to their opponents.
United saved the best for last, however, with a 4-3 victory over Zappsport London.
Phil Berntsen left it late and struck the ultimate blow with 15 seconds left to play.
Manager Justin Prentice told JournalSport: "We had an amazing journey in the FA Futsal Cup, the squad are a fantastic group and have learnt so much in the last nine months."
"Lots of work is now being carried out in preparation of the new season on and off the pitch."
United have added to the squad for their upcoming National League debut with the signing of England international, Luke Ballinger.
Head coach Geoff Bonner described the the country's top scorer as a real "talent" and says "international futsal pedigree will no doubt give us an edge".
