TISBURY United beat Nomansland & Landford 3-0 at home on Saturday to move up into second in the Premier Division.

Porton were leading the champions, Durrington Dynamos, until the last five minutes when they struck twice.

Porton battled from start to finish and were rewarded for their intense pressure and closing down on the stroke of half time when Andy Fung pressurised the defender into making a mistake and went through on goal to slide past the advancing goalkeeper.

Dynamos came out for the second half with much more purpose but Porton kept them at bay and threatened to double their lead on the counter attack.

They held on until Dynamos scored from a corner, with what seemed to be an elbow, and then in stoppage time Porton again felt injustice with a handball that fell into the striker's path.

In Division One, Durrington WMC kept up their 100 per cent start to the season with a hard-fought 4-3 win over Chalke Valley. First half goals from John Lane and Craig Appleby gave them a comfortable lead.

Two early goals after the interval brought the scores level before two more goals from Lane, completing his hat trick, restored the lead.

Chalke Valley pulled one back to make for a nervous finish but Durrington held on and remain top of the league.
