SIX different Amesbury Kings Arms’ goal scorers brushed aside Value Cars away from home in the Heseltine cup semi-final.
Tom Copeland’s opening volley got the 6-1 result underway but their lead was cut short when the hosts equalised. But Amesbury soon took control and further goals from Danny Rider, Robbie Homebury, Tom Brown, Ashley Griffiths and Martin Luke.
They will play Chalke Valley in the final after they beat Stockton & Codford Reserves 3-2 in the other semi leg.
Salisbury and District Saturday Premier Division leaders, The Wanderers, also enjoyed a cup win.
They booked a slot in the Wilts Cup semi-final after beating Porton Sports 4-2.
In Salisbury and District Division 2 (Sunday) Tom Watson bagged a hat-trick to secure a 4-2 victory for Figheldean Rangers, pictured, over New Sarum.
The weekend’s youth football was a great one for Sarum Youth under 11s, who registered a 4-1 win over Durrington Rangers thanks to Ryan Street’s treble and Aiden Mann’s goal.
