New deal for Nick
AS Salisbury City begins its first season in the Blue Square Premier, the club's manager Nick Holmes has kicked off a new deal with local car company the Hendy Group.
The automotive giant, which has car sales and hire operations in the city, has long been a supporter of the football club and has supplied the team's manager with a brand new Mazda6.
Hendy Group Mazda brand manager Ian Mullen said the group was delighted to be associated with such a successful football club and it was appropriate that the club should be associated with a leading car company and a great car.
"Salisbury has just completed an amazing season and we look forward to being part of further success in the 2007/08 season which is now underway,'' said Ian.
"It is important for the Hendy Group to be part of the community in which we operate and by working with Salisbury City FC we can reach a wide audience of existing and potential customers.''
The Mazda6 is the car that has helped Mazda become the UK's fastest growing marque in the last five years and has become Mazda's top selling car in the country.
