MATT Tubbs' 55th minute penalty earned Whites another three-point haul in a match that was not high on entertainment value and witnessed by their first three-figure home league crowd since April 2007 - just 987 spectators saw the hosts make it three wins on the spin.

Andy Sandell was brought down in the box ten minutes into the second half after being put through by a Jon Bass pass - Grays defender Jon Ashton seeing red for the professional foul.

The win lifted Whites to joint second in the table.
