SALISBURY City ladies beat Portsmouth University 2-0 to close the gap on Hampshire League Division One leaders Basingstoke Town.
City are currently third in the table and trail rivals Basingstoke by five points and Southampton Saints by two points. However, City have three games in hand on both clubs.
