AN initiative to get 2,000 people in place for the Kidderminster Harriers clash on Saturday, March 29 has taken off in the city.

Challenge 2000 has so far seen the Salisbury City team visit a range of primary and secondary schools, giving out complimentary tickets to pupils and holding presentations.

Last week, manager Mikey Harris and Warren Feeney were welcomed to Manor Fields Primary School to join their assembly and spend some time with the pupils.

The squad will continue to pay more visits and anyone wishing to book one should contact the club on 01722 776655.

Prizes are also on offer for the school that brings the most pupils to Ray Mac.

Any serving member of the Armed Forces can attend the Kidderminster game for £1 upon presentation of a valid ID card.
