A GROUP of dedicated Salisbury City fans are aiming to cycle 215 miles to watch their side’s final game of the Skrill Premier season with Chester FC.
Charlie’s Cycling Circus, who pedalled to Woking and walked to Basingstoke last season, will be getting back on their bikes to raise funds for Children with Cancer UK.
The cyclists plan to split the distance over three days, completing 90 miles on Thursday, 80 on Friday and 45 on match day (Saturday, April 26).
“This is a magnificent effort from a dedicated group of supporters, who are passionate about raising the profile of charities fighting against childhood cancer,” said organiser Stuart Cannell.
“Since Charlie’s Cycling Circus was created, we have raised more than £10,000 for various children’s cancer charities.”
