TWO Year 8 pupils from Wyvern College have come up with a strategy to raise funds for the Whites so football can be played at Old Sarum again.

Twelve-year-olds Nathan Cameron and Theo Sawyer, who both play for Salisbury City under 13s, have plans to set-up a fun day at Victoria Park in upcoming weeks.

The classmates are planning a barbecue, raffle, donation box, along with scores of activities, for the community to enjoy.

They said: “We’re trying to get more people to donate.

“We hope by doing this, we’ll raise awareness of the club’s situation.

“Salisbury is a big part of the city and we want it move forward.”
