Added time goal denies City share of spoils
SALISBURY City were denied a share of the spoils at Woking in today's Blue Square Premier match
when Jason Norville netted in added time to give the hosts a 3-2 win.
Woking were handed a lifeline after Whites had dominated proceedings when a twice-taken penalty by Guiseppe Sole tied the game at 2-2.
Marvin Morgan had put the hosts in front after 28 minutes before Rob Sinclair levelled just two minutes later.
Liam Feeney netted for Whites six minutes into the second half but as City continued to put the home side under considerable pressure, they failed to extend their lead.
Sole's 70th minute penalty was saved by City 'keeper Ryan Clarke, only for the referee to order it to be re-taken. Sole made no mistake this time around.
Woking pressed in the four minutes of added time - Neville grabbing an unexpected winner.
Woking 3 Salisbury City 2.
