City lift Hospital Cup
SALISBURY City defeated near-neighbours Shrewton United 3-1 at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium last night to lift the Salisbury Hospital Cup.
Reserve team player/manager Simon Browne put City in front on 24 minutes with Josh Dutton-Black netting their second just before half-time.
Joe Fisher made it 3-0 on 53 minutes to put the tie beyond the Toolstation Western League Division One side, who bagged a deserved late consolation goal.
Whites will be hoping to add the Wiltshire Premier Shield to their seasonal honours when they host Swindon Town on Thursday evening.
