Swindon first teamers head to the Ray Mac

THE county's bragging rights will be at stake this evening when Salisbury City host Coca-Cola League One side Swindon Town in the final of the Wiltshire Premier Shield.

City boss Nick Holmes has already confirmed he will field a strong side as he plots to end the campaign with another honour to add to the club's reserves' league and cup double and Hospital Cup success.

Whites have already completed their debut Blue Square Premier campaign - finishing in a highly creditable 12th place - while their Wiltshire neighbours still have one more game to play, Saturday's match with Millwall brings the curtain down on their season.

Swindon boss Maurice Malpas also fields a strong-looking side for contest at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium which kicks off at 7.45pm.

At least nine Robins players have first team experience.

Swindon team (probable): Phil Smith, Patrick Kanyuka, Ady Williams, Andy Nicholas, Tom Evans, Sam Morris, Michael Pook, Kurt Hammond, Sofiene Zaaboub, Ben Joyce, Kaid Mohammed. Subs (from): Mark Scott (gk), Nathan Thompson, Callum Kennedy Chris Allen, Jake Hide, Billy Paynter.
