Whites claim county prize

SALISBURY City were crowned county champions this evening after beating Swindon Town 1-0 in the final of the Wiltshire Premier Shield.

Rob Sinclair's 45th minute proved the winner in an entertaining contest at the Ray Mac.

The Luton Town loanee, whose manager Mick Harford was among the crowd, found the net after Robins 'keeper Phil Smith had failed to hold Marvin Brown's shot.

It was enough to land City their second trophy this week, following on from Monday evening's Hospital Cup final success against Shrewton United.
