A BUSY pre-season programme has been finalised by Salisbury FC, with the addition of trips to Swindon Supermarine and Portland United.

Those respective friendlies will take place on July 7 and July 25 to conclude Whites' seven-match programme before they launch their Wessex Premier journey the following month (August 8).

“I feel we have a really good blend of pre-season games,” says Whites manager Steve Claridge.

“We have some blockbusters at home, against AFC Bournemouth, Bristol Rovers and Eastleigh that the fans will be relishing.

“Then we have the Wessex League tests against Laverstock and Portland away from home, as well as the chances to go up against teams one step higher in Swindon Supermarine and Totton.

“That total package should put us in good shape for what is going to be a tough but exciting return to competitive football in the Wessex Premier."

Claridge is to unveil more signings this week, stay tuned with @Saljournalsport for the latest news.
