SALISBURY FC chairman David Phillips has thanked fans for their support at Edgar Street on Saturday - and now wants them to pack the Ray Mac and turn the tables on Hereford.

Almost 600 Whites fans did well to make themselves heard among more than 4,000 Hereford fans on Saturday and Phillips is looking to Whites supporters to be the dominant noise now that they will be in the majority for this Saturday's huge home second leg.

"Hereford put on a great day on Saturday and we hope to do the same this week," said Phillips. "Their fans were very noisy but now it's our turn.

"Our fans were superb at Edgar Street but for the first time at any match we have played this season, they were outnumbered.

"It's the same for Hereford. Normally, they outnumber everyone wherever they go but that won't happen this week. We will outnumber them by four to one.

"I'm sure it had an effect on one or two of our players. Now we'll see how theirs respond at our house."

Tickets have gone back on sale today following Saturday's 1-0 defeat and with the tie finely balanced, sales have been brisk already this week.

There are only terrace tickets left for the Partridge Way end side of the ground and the PB Asher stand and they are going fast now as the club comes closer to a sell-out crowd of 3,350 with each passing day.

"It's been busy," added Phillips.

"I think everyone can see now how close we are to Wembley and has realised the need to pack the Mac."
