IT will be the fourth time lucky for Salisbury and Horndean on Thursday night after the venue for their Sydenhams Wessex Premier clash was switched.

The teams were set to meet at Heads Park but, with heavy rain forecast and no free dates left between now and the end of the season, league bosses decided to move the clash to the Ray Mac.

The encounter was twice postponed earlier this year and then on the third time the game was played but abandoned at half-time when the scores were level at 2-2.

Only the one postponement has occurred at Whites' stadium this season when a frozen pitch in January saw their clash with Moneyfields fall foul of the weather.

It will be a crucial night for the Whites as, providing they win at Hamworthy United tomorrow night, a point will be enough to guarantee them the league trophy.

A statement from the league to Salisbury on Sunday night said: "In the absence of any alternative the above fixture will now be played at Salisbury on the scheduled date.

"Further details as regards the financial implications will be made known to both Clubs after tomorrow's Management Meeting.

"The League's thanks to Salisbury for agreeing to the change."

The game's a 7.45pm kick off.
