Boss Steve Claridge said: "We've comfortably won a very difficult league, and we've won it playing some great stuff and getting better and better throughout the season with a real good team spirit.

"People have taken on board what we've tried to do and upping their standards and game.

"There's a lot of things we can take from this season.

"I don't want it to be remembered for us getting to the Vase and missing out. I'm one of those people, at this stage, where it's still very raw.

"We are better than anyone else, we know that, which is why we are going to win it by 20 points."

The players are set to enjoy the early promotion party with a night out in the city after the Brockenhurst clash on Saturday night.

Claridge, who celebrated his 50th birthday on Sunday, added: "We are going to have a night out on Saturday and enjoy ourselves and make the most of that.

"You can play football for an awful long time and achieve absolutely nothing and win absolutely nothing so moments like this you have to make the most of.

"It's a tight group and we are determined to go out and enjoy ourselves as we've worked hard and deserve a bit of a break."

Whites have two more home games on the trot with the visit of Moneyfields and Hamworthy United before attempting to complete the unprecedented double with the Wiltshire Senior Cup, when they face Melksham Town in the final at Chippenham Town.

After that, they travel to AFC Portchester and Fareham Town before closing the season on Saturday, May 7 at home to Newport (IOW).

"It would be good to get it all presented at home to Newport and make that a really wonderful day for everybody," Claridge continued.

"A big thank you to everyone who has helped, been involved, come to support us week-in-week-out like they have.

"We've got to give credit to an awful lot of people at the club who work extremely hard

and that will be nice."

"It will be just reward for everything they've done."
