TITLE-winners Salisbury FC fell to their heaviest defeat of the season at the hands of AFC Portchester - just three days after losing the Wiltshire Senior Cup final.

The Whites, crowned Sydenhams Wessex Premier champions a fortnight ago, were thumped 4-1 by assistant manager Micky Jenkins' former side.

Two quickfire goals from Jason Parish put the hosts in the ascendancy.

Eddie Perrett fired one back but it was shortlived as further goals from Curtis Robbins and Luke Sweeney wrapped up the win.

The result sees them remain on 99 points with two more games as they seek to reach 100.

The Whites play their third successive away game tonight at Fareham (7.45pm).
