BIRTHDAY boy Kane O'Keefe struck a late winner as Salisbury fought back to secure a hard-fought 2-1 win over Mangotsfield United.
The skipper made it a 28th birthday to remember after he headed home in the 86th minute to send the Ray Mac crowd into raptures.
His strike made it back-to-back league wins which sees Whites move into ninth in the Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South and West table ahead of tomorrow's derby at AFC Totton (3pm), writes Thom Belk.
The home side had trailed to the Mangos since the 15th minute when poor defending allowed Ollie Mehew to pass across goal, and Lee Powell slotted home.
Tommy Wright came off the bench for the second half as Whites shuffled their pack to play with two up front. The lively Wright created problems straight away as Salisbury began to dominate.
And on 78 minutes the leveller arrived. Elliot Wheeler met a corner with his head which crashed into the net off the underside of the crossbar.
Steve Claridge's men rallied on and with four minutes to go it was O’Keefe - back from a long-term injury - who rose highest to head home for the victory.
