ALL five Salisbury sides picked up convincing wins in the first round of the Wiltshire Senior Cup.

Salisbury, fresh from their epic 4-3 win over Hereford in the FA Trophy, dished out an eight-goal mauling over Pewsey Vale on Tuesday night.

Debutant Mahlondo Martin, who was in Watford's Academy and signed from King's Langley, netted a hat-trick while Olly Mehew weighed in with a brace.

George Colson, Eddie Perrett - with a long range effort that followed his two clever finishes from close range in the 4-3 FA Trophy win over Hereford on Saturday - and fit-again Claudio Herbert completed the scoring against the plucky Sydenhams Wessex League Division One side who were down to 10 men after a red card late in the first half.

Amesbury Town secured a 3-0 win at home to Chippenham Park thanks to Ali Brown's strike either side of Paul Coventry's brace.

Laverstock and Ford replicated that scoreline when Marlborough Town visited.

On target for the hosts were Russell Jones, Archie Lovegrove and Robbie Gallagher.

Downton chalked up a confidence-boosting 6-0 win.

And high-flying Bemerton, who played their tie on Saturday, rallied to a 4-1 win at the hands of Cricklade Town.

Free-scoring Scott Joyce scored twice and there were also goals for Sam Griffin and Elliot Cross. Cameron Roach, who signed from Amesbury, made his debut.

The draw for the second round is TBC.
