THE Steve Claridge Football Foundation and Salisbury FC are now taking applications for the BTEC Sport and football enrichment programme based at the Ray Mac.
The programme offers a course for anyone looking at higher education or employment in the sport and football industry, including Level 2 and Level 3 BTEC Sport extended diploma for students achieving A*-E grades.
Alongside the qualification, the academy offers industry experience working in foundation holiday activities, coaching in secondary and primary schools and links to other sport and leisure facilities.
Students also receive free weekly gym sessions and membership with a local leisure centre, free kit and support with travel to and from the stadium.
The course is available to any students in Year 11 currently completing GCSEs or college students aged 16/17 years old who may be looking for a different option to the course that they are currently on.
