BOSCOMBE Down Rec Club breezed past Alderbury reserves to make it into the Heseltine Cup final, winning 7-0.

Harry Gale set up Tom Brown who smashed in an opener after only five minutes, and Charlie Croker outpaced the defence for the second. Gale made it 3-0 before half time.

Robbie Homebury set the second half alight with a stunning left-foot volley from outside the box into the top corner. Croker bagged his second of the match by curling an incredible shot with the outside of his foot, and captain Danny Goodall's thunderbolt free kick from 20 yards out made it 6-0. Gale finished off the scoring late on.

Durrington Dynamos didn't have it all their own way in the top-versus-bottom clash in the Premier Division.

Whiteparish took a deserved 2-0 lead in the first half. Durrington pulled one back but the visitors made it 3-1. The leaders responded brilliantly though, and eventually won it 4-3 with a goal from Leon Collins.

Porton Sports beat the champions Wanderers 3-0 at home, in their first game since December 8.

Wanderers had a goal disallowed for offside and both goalkeepers played their part in keeping it scoreless at the break. Striker Mike Budd rocked Wanderers by scoring twice in a matter of minutes just past the hour mark. His first a hard and low shot across the goalkeeper, and three minutes later he capitalised on a misjudged back pass and from a tight angle lofted it over the advancing keeper.

Ben Hatt then pulled off a string of fine saves to preserve the lead. Porton hit Wanderers on the break for the third, Budd releasing Matt Lucas to slot home and cap a great performance.

In Division One, Nomansland thrashed Winterslow 6-2. Dan Hayward put them ahead early on with a low shot in off a post, but the visitors levelled two minutes later to set the tone for an excellent game. Hayward cracked home his second on 20 minutes and a Lee Ricketts penalty made it 3-1 at the break.

Hayward's hat-trick goal looked to have clinched the points on the hour, but Winterslow immediately pulled one back with a neat header. Ben Gauntlett then won a penalty at the end of a mazy run, and Hayward converted. Gauntlett's lovely late chip made it 6-2.

On Sunday, Division Two leaders Wilton Club won 3-0 at Red Lion to reach the Stonehenge Cup final. Craig Wallington put them 2-0 up with a first-half brace, and completed his hat trick with four minutes to go.

Billy Baker starred for Laverstock on his debut, with two goals and two assists, as they sprung a surprise 5-3 win at RWJ Castle.

Brent Glover and James Hennessy put the visitors two up, and Dan Cooper pulled it back to 2-2 for RWJ. Within a minute Baker's terrific through ball set up Sam Marr who finished in style, and Baker's 40-yard lob made it 4-2 after the break.

Then RWJ won a penalty, but Hennessy, who had to go between the sticks when Gary Little got injured, dramatically saved it. Kev Grey netted from the rebound though. Baker's super solo goal made it 5-3 and Castle missed another penalty.
