Whites deducted point for fielding ineligible player

SALISBURY City have been deducted a point after being found guilty of fielding an ineligible player.

The decision was made as the paperwork regarding Elliott Frear’s third loan spell was not received by the Football Conference/ FA in time for the match at AFC Hornchurch on January 12.

After attending a Personal Hearing at the offices of the Premier League, the Whites were docked a point they gained during the 2-2 draw and fined £100.

The Old Sarum outfit say they will not be appealing the decision, despite sending off the relevant documents a week before the Conference South fixture took place.
