Bemerton too dominant for rivals Lavvy
BEMERTON Heath Harlequins under 18s continued their fine start to the Wiltshire Floodlight league with a dominant 6-0 home win against rivals Laverstock & Ford last Thursday.
TJ Moseley and Shaun Prentice both scored a brace, with Callum Hodge and Charlie Pullen also on the scoresheet.
Fordingbridge Town under 16s overcame previous unbeaten league leaders Clarendon Juniors 4-0 at home. Stuart Melbourne opened the scoring after just 55 seconds and Fergus Horswell added a second after 15 minutes with a header.
Oscar Rutherford-Steggall then added two more to make the score 4- 0 after just 30 minutes.
Sarum Youth under 14s remain unbeaten after a 5-3 win at Bradford Town Youth Panthers. Nathan Stott got the first two, and Isaac Thompson's long shot made it 3-0.
Bradford pulled one back before half-time.
Brad Williams and Stott's hattrick gave Sarum an unassailable 5- 1 lead, but Bradford did manage two late goals.
The unbeaten under tens won 5-2 at West Harnham, with goals from Dylan Tunney (two), Elliot Eyre, Oscar Ball and Jay Devine. Sarum's under 16s were victorious too, 3-0 at Warsash Wasps in the Hampshire Cup. Goals came from Lee Mills, Jake Rawkins and Zack King.
The girls under 15s won 2-1 at Frome Town, and the under 13s beat Warminster Highbury 5-0 with goals from Tia Lewis (two), Carys Hatcher with a top-class long-range half volley, Lily Withers and Chloe Podger.
South Newton & Wishford under 13s racked up 13 goals without reply at Chippenham Town Youth. Taylor Oakley (three), Ben Rolfes (two), Chey Hayer (two), Matthew Hamilton (two), Ben Huntley, Tyler Easley, George Mould and Harry Russell all scored.
Alderbury under 12s won 5-1 at home to Clarendon, racing into a 4- 0 lead with goals from Alex Voce, Harry Cobern and Logan Mcvey (two). Clarendon pulled one back early in the second half before Alderbury goalkeeper Kieran James made a superb penalty save.
Nathan Cameron then scored Alderbury's final goal from the spot.
FC Salisbury United under tens (pictured) continued their good start to the season with their ninth and tenth consecutive victories in the Eastleigh League. Charlie Webster (two) and David Chubinidze scored in the 3-0 win over City Central, then they beat Botley Village Rhinos 5-1 with goals from Webster, Liam O’Riordan, Jay Newman, Olly Goode and Myles Cole.
Clarendon Juniors' under 13s drew 1-1 with champions Lyndhurst, Charlie Humber scoring from distance. The under 15s won 3- 1 at South Newton & Wishford with goals from Callum Lodge, Tom Atkins and a Robbie Neale penalty.
Goals from Evan Clem and Thomas Langstaff weren't enough to stop the under 12s Saturday team from a 4-2 defeat at Braishfield Bees, while the under 16s, under 14s and Sunday under 12s were also defeated despite Fraser Clack and Tom Green finding the net for the latter two teams.
Clarendon's under 12s are seeking new players.
