A DEVOTED Salisbury Stingrays coach has said his farewells after 11 years of service.
Dave Currie left Five Rivers Leisure Centre recently, the place where he initially joined as a parent before becoming assistant head coach and Learn To Swim coordinator.
Club treasurer Melanie Cusack hailed Currie for orchestrating many successes at the wellknown Salisbury club.
“Dave’s departure is really the end of an era, and there is no doubt he will be missed,” she said.
“He has played an important role in the success of the club and we wish him well, although I am sure he won’t miss the early morning training sessions!”
