THE whole Sydenhams programme was a washout over the weekend, which left an array of Salisbury clubs scratching their heads.

Relegation-bound Downton were left fixtureless as their match with Moneyfields lost out to the weather, adding extra frustration to Jeff Softley's lacklustre camp.

Weather permitting they will look for their first win of 2014 at Whitchurch United, which is one of many backlog of fixtures heading their way.

Division one team Amesbury Town are also in for a hectic spell. Not playing for almost a month has given Gareth Horner's men a seldom rest but two away games in quick succession abruptly ends that period.

A trip to New Milton Town is on Saturday (3pm) then Team Solent is up next on Monday night (7.45pm). Neighbours Laverstock and Ford also have double matches scheduled but unlike Amesbury, both are at home. Stockbridge come to the Dell on Saturday (3pm) and Pewsey Vale arrive on Tuesday night (7.45pm).
