A NOMANSLAND civil servant battled through the harsh wintry conditions in Wales to complete an ultramarathon challenge.
On the weekend of January 18, David Hill ran the Anglesey Coastal Trail Marathon in about five hours.
In completing the gruelling 28-mile course, Hill has raised more than £1,100 for Greyhound Rescue West of England (GRWE).
“I had an amazing day” smiled David.
“It rained most of the way through and there were some seriously rocky and steep ascents and descents but I had a great time and even saw a couple of greyhounds during the race. I managed to come 16th of out 107, so I guess the training paid off.”
