TWO waterpolo players from Salisbury Stingrays are on the path to playing at high-profile events after being invited to Team GB trials.
Last month Katy Cutler and Sam Dalton spent two days in Cardiff, Wales where they were assessed amid 80 other young hopefuls.
During the intense weekend, they were given valuable coaching from current GB players, which proved to be a big success.
Fiona Croager, from Salisbury Stingrays, said: “This is the first step on the road to representing the country in this sport and they have worked really hard to get there.”
The youngsters also spend weekends at Basingstoke Regional Training Centre.
