ED Stagg fired home a last-gasp winner to book West Harnham under 12s’ place in the Testway League Final.

Stagg’s 17th goal couldn’t have been more fitting as the semi-final winner over Braishfield has set-up a winner takes all tie with Waltham Wolves on Thursday, May 8.

It wasn’t an easy last four game for Harnham who fell behind before Louis Smith drew them level and Stagg went on to secure the 2-1 win.

Across other junior football, South Newton & Wishford under 13s travelled to bottom club Westbury Youth on Sunday, aiming to improve on their previous 3-3 draw in the Mid-Wilts league.

And they got their reward as a first half hat-trick from Chey Hayer put Newton on the way to a sound 9-4 win to maintain their position as the only unbeaten side in the division and still on track to challenge for the title.

Chey added his fourth in the second half with Taylor Oakley also scoring a hattrick.

Midfielders Harry Russell and Matthew Hamilton also netted in an excellent team performance.

Shrewton under 14s got back to winning ways with a comprehensive 7-0 win at home to Wickham Wanderers.

Excellent build-up play and passing led to a treble from Jacob Slater, a Gavin Martin brace and one each for Jake Watson and Ryan Reynolds.

Spirited Sarum Youth under 11s were 3-1 victors over Alderbury Warriors on Saturday as Jamie Cooper scored two and Jayden Stoaks’ one was enough.
