ASPIRING young footballers from across south Wiltshire could win a chance to train with coaches from Premier League side Chelsea FC.
Wiltshire Council’s project Going for Goals is giving Year 5 and 6 pupils the opportunity to compete in upcoming competitions at local venues.
A tournament at Durrington Swimming and Fitness Centre is on today and Tisbury Sports Centre hosts another on Tuesday.
All games will be watched by coaches from Chelsea Football Club Foundation and the winners from each location will progress to the finals day.
Jonathon Seed, cabinet member for leisure, said: “Getting the chance to demonstrate your talent to one of the top football teams in the country is a dream we are helping to make a reality for our young footballers.”
