FANS from Salisbury City are swapping their cars for bikes this morning as part of a 215-mile charity cycle ride to Chester FC.
Charlie’s Cycling Circus are setting off at the Ray Mac to take on 90 miles, followed by 80 tomorrow and 45 on Saturday, where they will finish at the Deva Stadium in time for Salisbury’s final clash of the season.
The group, who previously embarked on a cycling trip to Woking and a walk to Basingstoke, have raised nearly £2,000 for Children with Cancer UK.
Organiser Stuart Cannell said: “Please help us raise the profile of this fantastic charity and reach our £5,000 target.”
