A HARD-fought point at Bonnymead Park all but cemented a ninth place finish for Amesbury Town.
The 0-0 stalemate on Saturday with Cowes Sports means they are unlikely to slip out of that position in Division One.
They could have made sure of that position at Andover New Street on Easter Monday, but lost 2-1.
That result has given rivals Laverstock and Ford, in 10th, a slender chance of stealing ninth position, with a win, by a desirable margin, needed at home to Team Solent on Saturday (3pm).
Ford had a mixed batch of results over Easter, with James Clifton (2), Rob Gallagher and William Knight smashing four past Fleet Spurs on Saturday, but two days later they lost away at Pewsey Vale.
