Women take podium spots
THREE of Salisbury Tri Club’s women dominated the podium spots at Sunday’s Durrington Triathlon.
Sarah Kemp was fastest home, followed by Hani Milstein in second and Katie West back in third, the latter also bagging first in the veteran section.
Other racers shining in the scorching heat were Nigel Peterson, Dave West, Alan Bayliss, Nicky Yevko, Emma Houghton, Tony Kesterton, Isobel Atkin, Melanie van Gemert, Mark Ingle, Katie Clements, Lee Johnson, Jonathan Croom, Deborah Atkinson, Philippa Nash, Duncan Edwards and Francessca Frangos.
Among the 135 finishers, taking part in the wellorganised event, were many triathlon newcomers.
