A FAMILY from Salisbury celebrated Father’s Day in the style of an ironman.
Salisbury Tri Club’s Peter Clements and Katie Clements raced in the Wimbleball Ironman 70.3, which included a 1.9m lake swim, 90k bike ride and 21k run across Exmoor National Park.
Katie came past the finish line in 7hours 37min with her dad further afield.
The club’s fastest athlete was Josephine Child, who notched up a time of 5.56 in her maiden Ironman to finish 23rd.
Ruth Thom was a minute behind Josephine, and Mark Jacobs strolled home afterwards.
Elsewhere, Toby Gowers completed his first race of the season at Olympic distance Windsor triathlon.
