TWO of Salisbury Tri club’s elite athletes flew to Austria for the Triathlon European Championships.
Joanne Bailey and Hani Milstein competed in the European age group championships in Kitzbühel, which included a 1500m swim, 40k cycle and a 10k run.
Milstein completed the hilly course in 1hour 45mins, placed 24th in her age group, and Bailey crossed the line in 1:52:01 to finish 12th in her age category.
Other club triathletes competing in other events were Les Campbell, Tristan Mullet, Alastair Elliott, Shaun Benfield and Helen Benfield, who put in impressive performances at the Boskman Long Distance Triathlon.
In the Forestman Middle Distance, Salisbury’s Wayne Reynolds bagged sixth overall, Katie West was the fifth fastest woman and Egg Cameron took sixth.
