THE Salisbury and District League will be sponsored by the Journal for the sixth season.

At the league’s 122nd AGM, vice chairman Bill Stevens was recognised for his lifetime commitment to the league with the Football Association 50 Year Service Award.

In addition, the teams were decided for the four divisions.

Saturday Premier League: Alderbury, Amesbury Kings Arms, Bacchus FC, Chalke Valley, Devizies Inn, Nomansland & Landford, Porton Sports, Sarum Youth Senors Reserves, South Newton & Wishford, Stockton & Codford and The Wanderers.

Division One: (play each other four times) Deacon Arms, Durrington FC, Railway Social Club, South Newton & Wishford Reserves, Stockton & Codford Reserves, Value Cars and West Harnham.

Sunday Division 1: (play each other four times) Alderbury, Figheldean Rangers, Laverstock & Ford, Red Lion, Rose & Crown, St Pauls FC and West Tytherley.

Division Two: (play each other three times) Barford Hornets, Cedars FC, Huntsman Tavern, James Hay, Laverstock & Ford Reserves, New Sarum, The Royal George and Whiteparish.
