LEADERS Shrewton boast the only perfect Hampshire League County Division 1 record after comprehensively beating Fareham & Crofton by seven wickets.
A fifth straight win has given the Shrews what amounts to a 23-point lead over second placed Lymington II, who have played two games more.
Weakened Fareham put up little resistance as Shrewton sped to victory, knocking off the visitors' 180 with more than 20 overs to spare.
Only teenage captain Tom Kent (85) put up much opposition as Fareham crumbled, initially to Paul Clancy (3-31) and Marcus Jenkins (2-23), then two-wicket pair Chris Brewer and Stuart Cruise (3-26).
Will Sleeman (42) and Rich Barnett (22) gave Shrewton's reply a positive start before Sam Gillott hit 72 and effectively settled the outcome.
Shrewton welcome Locks Heath on Saturday (1pm).
