Frustrating weather dampens Nomansland

HEAVY downpours left the Kings Park wicket an absolute minefield, with the new ball leaping from a good length with regularity.

Nomansland struggled from the off and lost early wickets, with Darren Grayer producing a battling 18, the only one of the top five to reach double figures.

Even he eventually fell to an unplayable lifter as the visitors limped to 31-4.

Gary Loveless (19) and James Mason (14) worked hard, but Nomansland were eventually all out for 98.

Reddy with 5-21 was the main beneficiary of the conditions.

Without the advantage of a new ball, the visitors were unable to extract the same venom from the surface after tea, as Boscombe attacked from the first over of their reply. Choudhary (19) and Kritzinger (33) found their rhythm and raced along.

Terry Harrison picked up one wicket and Sam Dempster took a couple, but that was as good as it got for the disconsolate visitors.
