THREE Salisbury Masters swimmers were among more than 9,000 competitors from 97 countries at the 15th World FINA Masters Championships in Montreal, Canada.

Among those competing was Phil Muspratt, the British number one competing in his fifth international competition, who claimed fourth – a season’s best - in the 100m freestyle, sixth in 50m freestyle and tenth in 200m freestyle.

Veteran swimmer Chris Jessup did five events in the 65 to 69 age group, with his best finish coming in the 100m fly. He clocked a personal best of 45.52secs to secure tenth position.

Clubmate Rob Langan’s strongest finish was an 11th place in the 400m freestyle.
