AMESBURY Town have signalled their intent to contend this season in Wessex Division One with another goal haul. This time East Cowes Victoria were the recipients of a 7-1 mauling.
Newcomer Danny Finnigan made it five goals in two for the leaders, who thrashed Team Solent last week 8-2, with the help of Craig Wheeler, Tyler Brockway, Sam Matthews and Nathan Barnett.
Town look to make it three-in-three on the road when they visit New Milton Town on Saturday (3pm) with a three-point cushion at the summit.
