THE Wanderers will start their defence of the Salisbury and District (Saturday) Premier League tomorrow when they travel to South Newton & Wishford.
The reigning champions, who marched their way to 12 wins out of 16 matches, go to Stoford Recreation Ground in search of an opening day victory.
Also bidding for title success in the Salisbury Journal sponsored league is 2011 champions Alderbury. They host newcomers Cedars FC.
Elsewhere, Devizes Inn entertain Porton Sports and Stockton and Codford host Nomansland and Landford. There are no games this weekend for newly-promoted Chalke Valley and Amesbury Kings Arms FC, and Sarum Youth Seniors Reserves are also game free.
Former Premier champions Durrington Dynamos and Tisbury United are not competing this season.
A mere six teams form Division One, comprising Deacon Alms, Durrington FC, Railway SC, Stockton and Codford Reserves, Value Cars and West Harnham.
Durrington SC are at home to Railway SC while Stockton and Codford Reserves are Value Cars’ visitors.
All matches kick off at 2.30pm.
