THE scene is set for a thrilling climax when respective winners of Rushmore Winter eclectic competitions are crowned.
In the net competition, Kevin Francis is co-leader with Graham Highfield and Greg Tapper, all of whom are sharing a score of net 56.
And where the gross category is concerned, Mark Pedder (net 66) has seen his commanding first round lead whittled away. He is now ahead of Kevin Francis (net 67) and Kevin Stow (net 68) by the smallest of margins.
Strong arctic winds and snow are forecast for the final round today.
The triathlon event already has winners, with Mark and John Stranger scooping the silverware with 43 points.
The next two pairs’ events will be Greensomes and Foursomes competitions next month.
The competitions at the Tollard Royal-based club have marked a fine winter of golf due to the condition of the greens, funded by the club’s improvement and investment programme.
