CRICKET clubs in Wiltshire have received a funding boost through the England and Wales Trust Small Grant Scheme 2015.
Amesbury have benefited from a bowlers run up, side sheets and bow dry water remover whilst Winterbourne have received cash for mobile covers.
Wiltshire Cricket Limited has distributed funds from the scheme to clubs, aiming to improve their long term sustainability.
Pete Sykes, cricket development manager at Wiltshire Cricket, said βItβs a fantastic scheme that gives valuable support to Wiltshire clubs across a variety of projects. In Wiltshire, we have supported clubs with projects that we feel will make a real difference in helping more games of cricket to be played. The scheme allows clubs to make a real difference in their local community.β
