A BULFORD teenager jet-setted to America for a week long camp at a top university.
Student Lauren Mighall spent eight days at at the WISA Women’s Adidas College Showcase 2015 in North Carolina.
She mixed with prospective students from the home country, Brazil and Chile, as well as exploring the campus.
Go Soccer College USA arranged for a number of footballers to experience American College life for a week before deciding to move their permanently.
Operations Director Tracey Carroll explained:“The intention of this trip is to allow 16 and 17 year olds, who are interested in a soccer scholarship in the USA, to experience if for themselves before committing the next few years of their lives.
"Our 2015 students have had an absolutely fantastic time at the College Soccer Showcase in North Carolina. We are delighted to have the partnership with a top class US University, with amazing facilities, so the students really get a sense of US college life.”
