A PREMIERSHIP rugby club is hosting a three day camp over the summer holidays at Ellingham and Ringwood.

London Irish representatives will be at the Parsonage Barn Lane outfit as part of their build up to the Rugby World Cup.

The camp runs from Monday, August 24 to Wednesday, August 26, catering for new and experienced players, both boys and girls, aged between six and 16 years.

Children do not need to be a member of Ellingham and Ringwood RFC to take part – everyone is welcome.

They can book for one, two or three days of rugby coaching from the Premiership side, who play their home games at the Madejski Stadium, Reading.

In this Rugby World Cup year, Ellingham and Ringwood RFC have a number of initiatives under way to get more people playing rugby. It also plans to establish a centre of excellence in the New Forest for girls’ rugby.

Ellingham and Ringwood RFC have built a strong relationship with London Irish and were awarded the status of Official Club Partner in 2014. Their camps provide a coaching programme that will help develop the key skills and techniques required for today’s modern game. The programme has been developed by their professional community coaches to cover all positions for players of all abilities.

Their camps provide a mix of technical coaching, fun and excitement for all.

With more than 300 boys and girls playing rugby, the academy has enjoyed a rich vein of form in recent seasons.
