THREE Sarum Orienteers excelled in the dark.
Charles Bromley Gardner (M55 class), Ian Peirce (M70) and Charlotte Thornton (W70)
were crowned champions of The Southern Night Championships.
The event, which was organised this year by London Orienteering Klubb who set some challenging courses on difficult terrain at Holmbury Hill near Dorking, Surrey, saw Sarum scoop other podium finishes.
In the M70 class, Brian Hart was second and Richard Thornton third, while Pat Hart took second place in W70.
