BISHOP Wordsworth’s pupil Cadan Murley stepped into the boots of an England rugby player for the day.
The teenager was among 30 of the country's most promising school rugby players invited to attend the NatWest Schools Cup Academy Day at England's Pennyhill Park training base in Surrey.
The two groups of 15, under 15s and under 18s, were put through their paces by coaches and played alongside England's Chris Robshaw, Dave Attwood, Matt Kvesic and former winger Mark Cueto.
They also took part in a photo and filming shoot to round off the day as professionals.
Cueto said: "English rugby is in a good place following the Grand Slam win and the calibre of players on show suggests we have a promising future to look forward to as well. Cadan performed consistently throughout this NatWest Schools Cup and his contribution to Bishop Wordsworth's season has been rightfully rewarded."
In April, Murley represented England Under-17s against Italy.
