Young Salisbury Stingrays
SALISBURY Stingrays' first competition of the season was a triumphant success.
The Orca Challenge, an annual event with Pewsey and Durrington swimming clubs, was the first competitive meet for many of the swimmers.
Salisbury's younger swimmers also impressed in a string of individual and relay events, retaining the trophy for the third year running.
"I am really proud of all the swimmers, particularly those who have never competed before," said Age Group coach Nell Walker, who has been selected as a finalist for Outstanding Service to Sport in South Wiltshire at the Journal Sports Awards on Friday, November 4.
